Boboutic

Boboutic, founded by Michel Bergamo from Salento, fashion designer, and Cristina Zamagni from Rimini, architect / photographer, in 2000. They work around the idea of a “knitwear wardrobe”, live and work in Florence. Both teach knitwear design at IUAV Venice.

Boboutic has been presenting their collections in Paris since 2001. The knit is the more malleable of tools, capable of creating textures and forms, lines and surfaces directly from the yarn or the fiber, in an organic process in which material and structure interpenetrate without a break, rather like what happens in architecture, the field from which they both come.
